We are currently working on this web page. For questions about pitching horseshoes in the Lusby, Maryland region, contact Don Lawyer @ 410-326-2070.

We encourage all back yard pithers!! Women, Men, Seniors, and Juniors.

We have a "Sponsor A Court" program going on in our community, to assist with the building process. Contact Don Lawyer @ 410-326-2070 or E-Mail, horseshoedon@concast.net  if you are interested.

We have 12 lighted courts with full concrete walk-ways and the blue clay is at least 10" deep in each pitt. Future plans are to construct a coverd area for picnic tables.

Our History
The Chesapeake Ranch Estates Horseshoe League was founded in the summer of 1992. In 1996, the CRE Horseshoe League joined The NHPA.

Rules for our league
Rule 1:

B.) Length of game. The game is played to a limit of 50 shoes pitched by each player.
C.) Handicap System. The handicap is 90 percent of the difference between the two teams' point averages. To find the handicap, subtract the lowest teams' average from the highest teams' average and then multiply by nine. 106-76=30 x .9 = 27.0 point handicap
D.) If only one player on a team shows up to play, his or her point average will be used as the team average for each game he or she pitches alone.
